Baku, September 23 (AzerTAc). An Azerbaijani delegation led by Head of the Caucasian Muslims` Board Sheikh ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade will participate in the 12th meeting of the Secretariat of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in Astana, Kazakhstan on Wednesday.
The Azerbaijani delegation will also attend an international scientific-practical conference titled "The role of Astana forum in the interreligious dialogue of civilizations".
The events will bring together leaders of World and Traditional Religions, state officials, public and political figures and journalists.
Participants of the event will exchange views on the results of the 4th Congress of World and Traditional Religions, held in May 2012. The cooperation of the Congress` Secretariat with international organizations to promote dialogue between religions and civilizations will also be on the agenda. Besides, the conceptual and organizational issues of the 5th Congress, scheduled for 2015, will be considered.
