Construction of Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway to be completed late this year

“The construction of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway will be finished late 2015”, Turkish Minister of Transportation, Maritime and Communication Lutfi Elvan has told a press conference in Istanbul.
Commenting on the delay of the project, the Minister said: “This railway line will be one the significant steps for reviving historical Silk Road. Now, I can say that the project will not be delayed this time and be launched at the end of 2015”.
