Baku, November 22, AzerTAc Chairman of the Clerical Office of Caucasus Muslims Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade has met State Minister of Georgia for Diaspora Issues Gela Dumbadze.The Chairman said the two countries were bound together by historical friendly and good neighbor relations.Pashazade recalled his visit to Georgia this summer and his meeting with Patriarch of all Georgia Ilia II.He thanked the Georgian government for supporting Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity. The Chairman said Azerbaijan has always supported Georgia`s territorial integrity. Gela Dumbadze spoke of his meetings in Baku, as well as his visit to Gakh District. He described Azerbaijan-Georgia relations as a model for other countries. Georgian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Teymuraz Sharashenidze was also present at the meeting.
