Expo visitors in Malaysia interested in Azerbaijan’s accomplishments

Azerbaijan has gained a special attention for its recent high level accomplishments at the 5th OIC World Biz international exhibition on November 10, in Kuala Lumpur.
In the 5-day international event member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and non-Muslim countries’ delegations, business reps up to thousand will take part. The exhibition and conference is one of the most economic events of its kind in the Islamic countries. Malaysian government attaches great importance to this event, allocating more than 2,5 mln USD.
Azerbaijan is represented by the well-known Azerbaijani concern headed by businessman Haji Ibrahim Nehramli.
At the opening ceremony of the exhibition, Azerbaijani Ambassador in Malaysia Galey Allahverdiyev was also present.
Azerbaijani businessman Haji Ibrahim Nehramli was awarded for "The most successful economic and social sensitivity”. Following the awarding ceremony, Nehramli said that an integral part of the Islamic world - Azerbaijan is rapidly developing. “Under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev favorable conditions for the successful business have been created,” he added. Noting the company he is representing assigns to many important projects, Nehramli informed about "Khazar Islands" residential and business complex. Nehramli said he hopes that the complex will become one of the leading business centers in the Islamic world.
Former Malaysian Prime Minister Tun Abdullah Badawi, visited Azerbaijani pavilion on the opening day of the exhibition and familiarized with the economic opportunities, and large-scale projects carried out.
