Charge d`Affaires of Columbian embassy to Azerbaijan visits Baku High Oil School
Baku, September 26 (AzerTAc). Rector of the Baku Higher Oil School Elmar Gasimov has met with Charge d`Affaires of the embassy of Colombia in Azerbaijan Assad Jose Gater, according to the press service of the School. The Rector informed the Columbian diplomat on the history, activity and main targets of the School. Gasimov noted the education process in the school is being organized according to the European Credit Transfer System and British Heriot-Watt University standards. “The lessons control, exams and estimation process are being realized by the partner university.”
The Diplomat hailed achievements of the School, and said Columbia has rich hydrocarbon resources, and was keen to learn experience of Azerbaijan, which has ancient history of oil. He also expressed readiness to demonstrate every support to establish all-round relations between the Columbian universities and Baku Higher Oil School. The Diplomat has also met with students, took interest in teaching process.
