Documentaries on genocide of Azerbaijanis presented at Kars Caucasus University
Ankara, March 28 (AzerTAc). On the threshold of March 31 - the Day of Genocide of Azerbaijanis, presentation of two films narrating on the events of genocide committed by Armenians against Azerbaijanis took place at the Kars Caucasus University here. The film - “March events or black games” (director Mehriban Alakbarzade) was shot by University`s Caucasus and Central Asia Research Center. The second documentary, “The Autumn of 1921” (director Tahir Aliyev, screen writer Ilham Tumas) was produced at the Azerbaijani Ministry of Culture and Tourism's Salname studio.
Speaking at the presentation, professor of the University Hajeli Najafoglu, he is also adviser to the second film, underlined importance of the films to bring the Armenian atrocities to the notice of world community.
Producers of the documentaries Mehriban Alakbarzade and Tahir Aliyev were presented memorial gifts by Azerbaijan’s Consulate General in Kars.
