Baku, October 5 (AzerTAc). Head of the Caucasian Muslims` Board Sheikh ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade has met today Russian Deputy Prime Minister and Presidential Envoy to the North Caucasus Federal District Alexander Khloponin. The sides exchanged views on what had been done in the Caucasus in religious and spiritual sphere. Khloponin expressed satisfaction with the reception by President Ilham Aliyev. He praised the ongoing development process in Azerbaijan in both economic and political spheres. Khloponin also highly appreciated the religion-state relations in Azerbaijan. He stressed the importance of Pashazade`s opinions and advices for solution of existing problems in Caucasus. Khloponin expressed hope Pashazade would further spare no efforts to deepening spiritual relations between Azerbaijan and Russia and strengthening traditional Islamic values. Pashazade briefed Khloponin on President Ilham Aliyev`s policy to protect religious values in Azerbaijan. He underlined the necessity of development of spiritual relations between Azerbaijan and Russia. Azerbaijan`s ambassador to Russia Polad Bulbuloglu and Russian ambassador to Azerbaijan Aleksandr Dorokhin were present in the meeting. x x x The same day Sheikh ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade also met Ingush leader Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, President of Kabardino-Balkaria Arsen Kanokov and President of Dagestan Magomedsalam Magomedov. The visitors described the tolerance and religion-state relations in Azerbaijan as an example for the whole Caucasus. ######
