Chief of Caucasian Muslims` Board meets Turkish deputy Prime Minister

Baku, July 21 (AzerTAc). Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Board and Supreme Religious Council of Caucasian peoples Sheikh ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade has held a meeting with Turkish deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdag as part of his visit to Turkey.
Pashazade praised the relationship between Azerbaijan and Turkey. He underlined the discussion of boosting cooperation between religious bodies of the two countries at a meeting with chairman of Turkish Presidency of Religious Affairs.
In his turn, Bozdag said that the visit of the chief of Caucasian Muslims` Board draws Turkey to be more responsible in the relations with Azerbaijan.
“Relationship between Azerbaijan and Turkey, - the countries national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev described as “one nation and two states” - is example for other countries,” Bozdag said.
Azerbaijan ambassador to Turkey Faig Bagirov also participated in the meeting.
The Azeri delegation also visited the Turkish Presidency of Religious Affairs. Chairman of Turkish Presidency of Religious Affairs Mehmet Gormez said that the presidency operating since 1975 is carrying out construction and financing of religious schools, treatment of poor people, and organization of religious events.
A Martyrs Mosque in Baku, praying places in Middle Asia countries, Northern Cyprus and the Balkans were constructed with the help of the presidency.
Pashazade highlighted the Azerbaijani government`s attention to the religious figures and construction and restoration works held in religious place.
