Baku, April 1 (AzerTAc). A remembrance event marking the 31 March - Day of Genocide of Azerbaijanis has been held in Kyiv, Ukraine, at the initiative of the Ukrainian Azerbaijanis Congress and Ukrainian Azerbaijani Youth Union.
The event brought together representatives of Azerbaijan`s embassy and Diaspora in the country and students.
Adviser of the embassy in Ukraine Yegana Gafgazli briefed participants on the massacres committed by Armenians against Azerbaijanis.
Chairman of the Ukrainian Azerbaijani Youth Union Anar Tahirov said the state-level political assessment of the criminal acts of Armenians against the Azeri people was given only by the Decree of the national leader Heydar Aliyev.
Participants watched a documentary on Armenian terror.
