Day of Genocide of Azerbaijanis marked in Riga
Baku, April 1 (AzerTAc). The “Ocaq” Society operating in Riga has organized an information seminar dedicated to the 31 March - Day of Genocide of Azerbaijanis.
The event brought together Azerbaijani students studying in Latvia.
Chairman of the Society Roman Aliyev informed participants about the massacres committed by Armenians against Azerbaijanis in 1918.
Participants watched a documentary film on the Sumgayit events.
Students were presented books on Armenians` cruelty against Azerbaijanis.
