Baku, April 1 (AzerTAc). “Ojag” society in Riga organized a workshop on the occasion of March 31 - Day of Genocide of Azerbaijanis.
Chairman of the society Roman Aliyev said Armenians committed massacre against peaceful people of Azerbaijan in Baku, Ganja, Guba, Shamakhi and other regions in 1918. Mr. Aliyev said a book on history of Azerbaijan has been also published in Lettish. About 12 thousands Azerbaijanis were killed by Armenian nationalists in Baku and suburban villages.
Mr. Aliyev said it is necessary to spread information about policy of genocide and terrorism of Armenia.
