World marks March 31 - Day of Genocide of Azerbaijanis

Baku, March 31 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s Embassy to Turkmenistan has organized a commemorative event to mark the 31 March - Day of Genocide of Azerbaijanis.
Addressing the event, Azerbaijan`s ambassador to the country Vahdat Sultanzade briefed participants on the history of the Genocide.
The diplomat noted the state-level political evaluation of criminal acts of Armenians against the Azeri people was given only by the Decree of the national leader Heydar Aliyev “On the genocide of Azerbaijanis” dated 26 March, 1998.
Statement of Human Rights Commissioner of Azerbaijan on 31 March - Day of Genocide of Azerbaijanis was read out at the event.
Participants watched a documentary on Armenian terror.

A remembrance event marking the 31 March - Day of Genocide of Azerbaijanis has been organized by the country`s embassy in Korea at the Korean University of Foreign Languages.
The event brought together teaching staff and students of the university, employees of the embassy, Azerbaijanis studying in Korea, representatives of NGOs and journalists.
Azerbaijan`s ambassador to the country Rovshan Jamshidov briefed participants on the Genocide and the Khojaly tragedy.
Participants watched a documentary film.
Participants were also presented books and booklets on Armenians` military aggressions against Azerbaijanis.

Azerbaijan`s Embassy to Serbia has organized a commemorative event marking the 31 March - Day of Genocide of Azerbaijanis.
The event brought together diplomats, Azerbaijanis living in Serbia, members of Azerbaijani Culture center in Belgrade and Azerbaijan-Serbia Commerce and Economic Chamber and local residents.
Participants were informed about the massacres committed by Armenians against Azerbaijanis in 1918.
It was noted the state-level political evaluation of the criminal acts of Armenians against the Azeri people had been given only by the Decree of the national leader Heydar Aliyev “On the genocide of Azerbaijanis” dated 26 March, 1998.
The Embassy has sent information on the Day of Genocide of Azerbaijanis to state and government bodies of Serbia, MPs, NGOs, diplomatic corps and representations of international organizations.

Azerbaijan`s Embassy to Saudi Arabia has organized a commemorative event to mark 31 March - Day of Genocide of Azerbaijanis.
Counsellor of the embassy Mr. Valiyev informed participants on the massacres committed by Armenians against Azerbaijanis in 1905-1918.
He said the state-level political evaluation of the criminal acts of Armenians against the Azeri people was given only by the Decree of the national leader Heydar Aliyev “On the genocide of Azerbaijanis” dated 26 March, 1998.

Azerbaijan`s Embassy to Romania has organized a remembrance event marking the 31 March - Day of Genocide of Azerbaijanis
The event brought together heads of offices of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan in Romania, members of Romania-Azerbaijan Friendship Society and Azerbaijan-Romania Culture and Youth Association, Azerbaijanis living in the country and journalists.
Participants were informed about the massacres committed by Armenians against Azerbaijanis in 1905-1917.
It was noted the state-level political evaluation of the criminal acts of Armenians against the Azeri people had been given only by the Decree of the national leader Heydar Aliyev “On the genocide of Azerbaijanis” dated 26 March, 1998.
The Embassy has sent information on the Day of Genocide of Azerbaijanis to state bodies of Romania, NGOs and diplomatic corps.
