Baku, March 29 (AzerTAc). Igdir Azerbaijani House has made an appeal in connection with March 31 - Day of Genocide of Azerbaijanis.
The Appeal reflects historical facts of belonging of the present territory of Armenia to Azerbaijan, the representative of the House Sardar Unsal said.
The document also reflects the realities about how hundreds of thousands of Azerbaijani civilians were killed as a result of Armenian aggression. The acts of genocide committed against the Azerbaijani population in 1918, March were especially cruel in Baku, Shamakhi, Guba, Karabakh, Ganja and other regions of Azerbaijan.
The state-level political evaluation of the criminal acts of Armenians against the Azeri people was given only by the Decree of the national leader Heydar Aliyev “On the genocide of Azerbaijanis” dated 26 March, 1998.
The document reflects the importance of bringing to the world community the truth about the March genocide.
