Baku, November 3, AZERTAC
The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has ordered the suspension of all matches scheduled for this Tuesday, November 3. The decision follows confirmation of the death of Jesús de Miguel, a player for CD Tenerife, according to OneFootball.
The postponement directly affects the knockout fixtures scheduled for today: the first round of the Copa del Rey Mapfre and the third round of the Copa de la Reina Iberdrola.
The federation has also cancelled the official presentation of Spain Under-21s' match against Japan, which was due to take place today in Almendralejo, in the province of Badajoz.
In a public statement, the RFEF expressed its condolences and support to the player's family, teammates and loved ones, extending its solidarity to the entire CD Tenerife community.
