Azerbaijan’s designation of mine action as its 18th National Sustainable Development Goal is a testament to this,” said Dmytro Shlapachenko, UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan, at the opening of the high-level strategic dialogue titled “SDG Moment in Garabagh: Azerbaijan–United Nations Partnership for the Future,” held in Khankendi.“Our cooperation must also extend to mine action and the broader needs of affected communities,” he added.
