The 2nd Azerbaijan International Investment Forum featured a panel session titled “Intelligent Economies: AI, Innovation and Digital Transformation”.
In his remarks, Deputy Minister Rashad Hasanov highlighted AI, innovation, digital infrastructure and transformation as key drivers of productivity, business transformation, and the development of a smart economy.
The panel was moderated by Corrado Panzeri, Partner at Italy’s “The European House–Ambrosetti & TEHA Group” and Head of InnoTech Hub. It brought together representatives from Türkiye’s Ministry of Industry and Technology, HPE, Oracle, Arthur D. Little, McKinsey & Company, Asseco Poland and the World Economic Forum.
Discussions focused on AI’s impact on the transformation of the economy and business, its potential to boost productivity and competitiveness, and applications in industry, manufacturing, trade, finance and energy. Participants also exchanged views on developing innovation ecosystems that foster cooperation among technology companies, startups and government institutions.
