On the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Slovenia’s Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Tone Kajzer.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov congratulated his counterpart on his appointment and wished him good luck.
The ministers reviewed the bilateral agenda as both nations mark the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations in 2026, emphasizing the importance of intensifying political dialogue, and advancing mutual support within international platforms.
The meeting highlighted expanding energy and transit cooperation, welcoming the delivery of Azerbaijani natural gas to the Slovenian market and exploring strategic connectivity partnerships along the Middle Corridor.
FM Bayramov also briefed his counterpart on the current status of the Azerbaijan–Armenia normalization agenda and the large-scale reconstruction underway across Azerbaijan's liberated territories.
