Share of EU countries in Azerbaijan’s total exports exceeds 53 percent – GRAPH

Azerbaijan exported $11.75 billion worth of goods to European Union (EU) countries in January–August 2026, down 1.5 percent or $175.18 million year-on-year, according to figures released by the State Customs Committee.
During the same eight-month period, Azerbaijan imported goods worth $1.81 billion from the EU, marking a 3.2 percent or $430.04 million decline compared to the same period last year.
Trade with the EU accounted for 53.86 percent of Azerbaijan's total exports and 15.92 percent of its total imports during the reporting period.
In January–August 2026, Azerbaijan’s total exports stood at $21.81 billion, while total imports reached $11.42 billion.
