Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) ranked third among Azerbaijani universities in the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2026.
UI GreenMetric is an international university ranking system that evaluates higher education institutions based on their commitment to sustainability, environmental responsibility, and sustainable campus management. The assessment covers key areas including campus setting and infrastructure, energy and climate change, waste management, water conservation, transportation, as well as education and research.
AzTU’s position among the top three universities in Azerbaijan reflects the progress made in integrating sustainability principles into the University’s institutional practices and development priorities.
