On September 24, a Georgian delegation, led by Nino Tsilosani, Vice Speaker of the Georgian Parliament, visited Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis, meeting with the chairmen of parliamentary committees.
During the meeting, Anar Isgandarov, Chairman of the Science and Education Committee of the Milli Majlis, highlighted that the existing ties of friendship and brotherhood between Azerbaijan and Georgia are reflected in the close relations between the two countries’ leaders and parliaments. He added that both countries consistently support each other at the regional and international levels.
Tsilosani underscored that both countries enjoy high-level cooperation across political, economic, and energy areas.
The meeting also highlighted successful bilateral cooperation in education, investment, and tourism, stressing the strategic importance of joint projects, namely the Middle Corridor, the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline, and the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway.
The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation in various areas, fostering interparliamentary relations, and identifying new avenues for cooperation.
