“The annual inflation stood at 5.7% during the first eight months of 2026,” said Azerbaijan’s Prime Minister Ali Asadov during discussions held at the Cabinet of Ministers.
According to the PM, taking into consideration international organizations’ forecasts for food and commodity prices, the stability of the manat exchange rate, and the balance of the foreign currency market, average annual inflation is projected to fall to 5.3% next year and remain within the target range.
