Baku, September 24, AZERTAC “Today, Azerbaijan is pursuing a consistent peace agenda aimed at strengthening lasting peace and stability in the region, while keeping the reconstruction of liberated territories, the Great Return, economic diversification, and long-term national development among its key priorities. The next medium-term period, covering 2027–2030, will present new strategic challenges and objectives amid complex regional geopolitical and economic developments and global trends,” said Azerbaijan’s Prime Minister Ali Asadov during discussions held at the Cabinet of Ministers.He noted that the drafts of the new 2027–2030 Strategy and the Second State Program on the Great Return have been developed, extensively discussed by the Economic Council, and submitted to the President. Following the adoption of new state programs by the President in recent months, the Strategy is undergoing finalization and is expected to be approved in the coming months.
