Baku, September 21, AZERTAC The Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Academy of Public Policy and Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan have signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in Khankendi.The document was signed by Academician Urkhan Alakbarov, Rector of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Jasur Salikhov, Rector of the Academy of Public Policy and Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.The memorandum creates new opportunities for expanding cooperation between the two higher education institutions in the fields of public administration, public policy, human resource development, education, scientific research and expert activities.The document provides for reciprocal visits by faculty members and researchers, the implementation of training and internship programs for civil servants and master’s students, joint scientific research, conferences, seminars and roundtables, the preparation of scientific publications, and an expanded exchange of experience between the two institutions.The signing of the memorandum will contribute to further developing the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan in the fields of science, education and public administration, as well as strengthening institutional cooperation between the two countries’ academies of public administration.The sides emphasized the importance of expanding the practical scope of mutual cooperation, implementing joint training and scientific projects, and exchanging best practices in modern public administration and human resources development.
