“Today marks the first time that Khojavend City Day is being celebrated. The Great Return to the Khojavend district, including the city of Khojavend, which was launched one year ago, is currently ongoing,” Emin Huseynov, Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Aghdam, Fuzuli and Khojavend districts, told journalists.
“Nearly 4,500 people, comprising 1,083 families, have been resettled in the Khojavand district to date. In just one year, residents have returned to their ancestral lands across eight residential settlements in the district, where they are now continuing their lives," he noted.
