Moscow hosts 58th OANA Executive Board meeting

Hosted and chaired by the Russian TASS News Agency, the 58th Executive Board meeting of the Organization of Asia-Pacific News Agencies (OANA) has been held in Moscow.
Heads and representatives from 14 member agencies of the Executive Board, including AZERTAC, which serves as Vice-President of OANA attended the event.
The conference participants heard financial and technical reports of the organization. It was noted that the composition of the organization's technical and ethical committees has been expanded, while ongoing technical updates to the organization’s website have been successfully finalized.
The participants agreed that the next Executive Board meeting will be hosted by the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) in 2027.
Marking its 65th anniversary this year, OANA unites 41 news agencies across 33 countries. AZERTAC joined the organization in 2004 and has served on its governing body, the Executive Board, since 2016.
