Baku, September 18, AZERTAC Sabina Aliyeva, Azerbaijan’s Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman), participated in the Second Council of Europe Business and Human Rights Forum – BRAVE 2026 in Strasbourg, France.The conference aimed to promote cooperation in combating forced labor and discuss innovative solutions to address this issue.Addressing the event, Sabina Aliyeva underlined that national human rights institutions can make a significant contribution to preventing forced labor and identifying related risks at an early stage.She emphasized that Azerbaijan has adopted the National Action Plan to Combat Human Trafficking for 2026–2030. The proposals and recommendations put forward by the Ombudsman were also taken into account in the preparation of the Action Plan.
