An Azerbaijani delegation led by Colonel General Ali Naghiyev, Chief of the State Security Service (SSS), participated in the 28th conference of the special service agencies of Turkic States held in Kazakhstan.
Addressing the event, Colonel General Ali Naghiyev drew attention to the new global and regional threats posed by modern geopolitical dynamics, highlighting the severe consequences of ongoing large-scale military conflicts on the functioning of transport corridors.
The State Security Service Chief also highlighted the negative impact of the ongoing crises in the Middle East, including the blockade of strategic straits, on world trade, energy security and the global economy.
Colonel General Ali Naghiyev emphasized that no state can remain isolated from current geopolitical shifts, emphasizing the need for partner states to broaden their exchange of expertise and information to safeguard national security and confront upcoming challenges with a unified front.
The participants exchanged assessments of the global situation and discussed measures to strengthen regional security and stability amid emerging and modern threats.
The conference concluded with the signing of a final document.
