Tashkent, August 21, AZERTAC As part of a press tour to Uzbekistan, Azerbaijani media representatives visited the Amirsoy and Beldersay mountain resorts in Tashkent Region.During the trip, they were briefed on the development of year-round mountain tourism, modern infrastructure for active leisure, ongoing investment projects, and prospects for developing an international tourism cluster in the region.Amirsoy is Uzbekistan’s largest ski resort and one of Central Asia’s leading mountain tourism destinations. Covering around 900 hectares and reaching an elevation of 2,494 meters above sea level, the resort offers skiing and snowboarding in winter and various outdoor activities in summer. The journalists were briefed on ongoing investment projects, tourism infrastructure development, and prospects for further expanding international tourism cooperation.The Azerbaijani media representatives then visited Beldersay Resort in the picturesque mountains of Tashkent Region and were briefed on plans to develop the area’s tourism potential and modern mountain tourism infrastructure.
