Azerbaijan’s Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) and Turkish Trade Center (TTC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen cooperation between Azerbaijani SMEs and business circles of Turkic countries, expand investment and trade relations, as well as to increase partnership opportunities between business entities.
The document was inked by KOBIA Chairman of the Board Orkhan Mammadov and Director of Turkish Trade Center Yılmaz Okuklu.
The MoU envisages supporting the establishment of direct contacts between Azerbaijani SMEs and entrepreneurs from Turkic countries and the identification of potential partners.
The document also reflects the possibilities of organizing joint business and educational events that will contribute to the development of relations between businesspeople, as well as conducting mutual visits of business delegations, trade missions, and experts.
It is also planned to exchange information on exhibitions, fairs and forums held in Azerbaijan and the Turkic states, as well as cooperation opportunities in the fields of investment, trade, and industry, and to encourage the participation of entrepreneurs in relevant events.
KOBIA representatives also toured the Turkish Trade Center and the center’s exhibition.
