


Central Bank of Azerbaijan, VISA discuss enhancing digital payment security

Vusal Khalilov, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), met with Sergii Martynchuk, the newly appointed Visa Senior Vice President and Group Country Manager for CIS, Southern and Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and the Caucasus region.
“They discussed further expanding the country's digital payment infrastructure, optimizing costs related to accepting payments, combating fraud in the sector, and improving risk management mechanisms.
The meeting also exchanged views on promising initiatives to further increase the security and efficiency of digital payments,” CBA said on X.
