


Azerbaijan, International Monetary Fund discuss economic diversification measures

Samad Bashirli, Azerbaijan's Deputy Minister of Economy, met with Anna Bordon, Head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Mission to Azerbaijan.
The meeting focused on current and medium-term economic forecasts, structural reforms to diversify Azerbaijan's economy, and updates in tax policy and administration.
The IMF delegation was informed on the expansion of state support mechanisms for entrepreneurship, investment policies targeting the non-oil-and-gas sector, and partnership opportunities with international financial institutions.
The parties also exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.
