Baku, July 16, AZERTAC During the first six months of the year (January–June), 20,792.2 million cubic meters of natural gas were transported through Azerbaijan’s trunk gas pipelines, representing a 2.6% increase compared to the same period last year.According to data provided to AZERTAC by the State Statistical Committee, the Baku–Tbilisi–Erzurum (South Caucasus Pipeline) carried the primary share of transit, accounting for 55% of the total volume – equivalent to 11,442.2 million cubic meters of natural gas.
