Israeli doctors present groundbreaking research on glaucoma surgery

The Wolfson Ophthalmology Department presented groundbreaking research on glaucoma surgery at the annual conference of the Israeli Ophthalmological Association, according to TPS-IL.
During the conference, the department’s physicians presented original clinical studies, shared insights based on accumulated experience and research data, and took part in professional discussions dealing with innovations that affect the diagnosis, clinical decision-making, and treatment of glaucoma patients. Dr. Kfir Tal presented the importance of combining visual field tests, OCT imaging, and clinical assessment in determining the severity of glaucoma and adapting the surgical approach to each patient.
