


Azerbaijan records fastest internet speed in South Caucasus

The latest Speedtest Global Index ranking shows that Azerbaijan has the fastest internet in the South Caucasus.
In June Azerbaijan ranked first in the South Caucasus and 46th among 98 countries in average mobile internet speed, at 98.61 Mbps. Georgia ranked 17th, while Armenia placed 61st. The fastest mobile internet speed was recorded in the United Arab Emirates at 672.87 Mbps.
In the fixed broadband rankings, Azerbaijan placed 84th among 149 countries with an average speed of 92.18 Mbps. Armenia ranked 85th with 91.69 Mbps, while Georgia was 107th with 50.83 Mbps. Singapore recorded the world's fastest fixed broadband speed at 447.75 Mbps.
