Digital transformation continues to accelerate rapidly across the globe in the modern era. Technological progress is reshaping the requirements of the economy, the labor market, and public administration. Under these conditions, highly skilled and competitive human capital stands as one of the primary factors determining a nation's competitiveness, said Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Hasanov during his address at the closing ceremony of "IT SkillSprint," an international educational program for digital skills hosted at higher education institutions.
He noted that, for this reason, developing competitive human capital has been designated as one of the key priorities of state policy in our country.
“A primary goal is ensuring that students do not rely solely on theoretical knowledge, but rather participate in real-world projects to emerge as professionals fully prepared for the labor market. The 'Hire and Train' model, which promotes workforce training tailored to industry demands, is being implemented. Under this framework, local specialists are trained with the involvement of international technology companies and integrated into specific projects. Consequently, the objective is to further strengthen the link between education and the labor market,” the Deputy Minister noted.
