


Azerbaijan Central Bank, IMF explore cooperation

Vugar Ahmadov, Executive Director of Azerbaijan’s Central Bank, met with a delegation led by Anna Bordon, head of the International Monetary Fund's (IMF) mission to Azerbaijan, during the IMF team's visit to the country, the Central Bank said on X.
“The meeting focused on the impact of developments in the global economy and financial markets on Azerbaijan's economy, as well as on macroeconomic and financial stability. The officials also discussed economic growth trends and inflation forecasts.
They also reviewed initiatives to improve the transmission of monetary policy and develop the interbank market, along with the central bank's key monetary policy and financial stability priorities for this year and the medium term,” the Bank noted.
