Fuad Naghiyev, Chairman of the State Tourism Agency, met with Maria Papaconstantinou, Ambassador of Greece to Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, the sides reviewed the current state and prospects of cooperation in the field of tourism between the two countries.
The parties emphasized the importance of increasing transport accessibility to boost mutual tourist flows. They hailed the successful organization of charter flights from Baku to the Greek island of Crete, noting that the resumption of direct and regular flights between the two countries in the future will significantly boost tourism relations.
The sides stressed the importance of enhancing bilateral promotion to showcase the tourism potential of both countries.
