Azerbaijan, UK explore enhancing parliamentary ties

On July 14, members the Azerbaijan-UK Interparliamentary Relations Working Group of the Milli Majlis met with Bob Blackman, Member of the UK Parliament and Head of the UK–Azerbaijan interparliamentary friendship group.
During the meeting, Fariz Ismayilzade, Member of the Milli Majlis and Head of the Azerbaijan-UK Interparliamentary Relations Working Group, noted that the Azerbaijan-UK relations have been elevated to the level of strategic partnership. He also highlighted the current state and development of bilateral relations, adding that there are opportunities to enhance cooperation in the fields of education and artificial intelligence.
Samad Seyidov, Chairman of the Committee on International Relations and Interparliamentary Affairs of Milli Majlis, praised the development of relations between the two countries, stressing the importance of maintaining interparliamentary contacts and enhancing mutually beneficial collaboration within the international parliamentary organizations.
Bob Blackman underscored that parliamentary diplomacy and reciprocal visits contribute significantly to boosting bilateral ties.
