New edition of IRS-Heritage magazine published in Moscow

Moscow, July 14, AZERTAC
A new edition of "IRS-Heritage" magazine, a key platform for promoting Azerbaijani history, culture, and realities globally, has been released in Moscow.
The latest edition focuses on the preservation of Azerbaijan's historical memory and cultural heritage.
The magazine's Editor-in-Chief, Musa Marjanli, emphasizes that national memory is preserved not only in monuments and archives, but also in literature, art, diplomacy, folklore, archaeology, and cultural traditions.
The latest edition opens with an article dedicated to the prominent writer and playwright Anvar Mammadkhanli, highlighting his rich literary heritage, romantic worldview, and exceptional role in 20th-century Azerbaijani literature.
The new issue includes important research on Azerbaijan's statehood and military history, highlighting Nader Shah Afshar's geopolitical strategy for Turkic unity, the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic's (ADR) diplomatic mission in Tehran, and the “tabarzin” ritual battle axes as symbols of power.
The issue also explores the artistic legacies of Toghrul Sadikhzade and Eldar Akbarov, as well as research on Azerbaijan’s heritage, educational and charitable activities, and ancient female warriors.
