An exhibition featuring works by young Azerbaijani artists inspired by rare artifacts from the Grand Egyptian Museum opened at ADA University in Baku on July 8.
The exhibition was organized by ADA University in cooperation with the Egyptian Embassy in Baku and the Dirchalish (Revival) Youth Social-Psychological Rehabilitation Center.
Held ahead of Azerbaijan's Diplomatic Service Day on July 9, the event aimed to showcase the role of cultural diplomacy in fostering closer ties between peoples and nations.
In his opening remarks, Fariz Ismailzade, Vice Rector of ADA University and a member of the Milli Majlis, highlighted the strong cooperation between Azerbaijan and Egypt across various fields, including cultural diplomacy. He said the exhibition was intended to promote mutual understanding and strengthen ties between the two countries through cultural exchange.
The event also featured remarks by Houssam-Eldine Reda, Egypt's Ambassador to Azerbaijan, as well as Milli Majlis members Jeyhun Mammadov and Asim Mollazada, and Islam Bakhshaliyev, Director of the Dirchalish (Revival) Youth Social-Psychological Rehabilitation Center.
Participants then toured the exhibition.
