Baku, May 1, AZERTAC In accordance with the relevant order of the First Deputy Minister of Defense – Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army, a graduation ceremony of the Basic Diver Course was held in one of the Navy’s military units, the Ministry of Defense told AZERTAC.At the event attended by Navy special forces and servicemen of the Special Forces, the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the Motherland was honored with a minute of silence. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.Speakers at the event noted that the conduct of such courses makes a significant contribution to improving the professional qualifications and combat readiness of servicemen.Throughout the course, servicemen developed professional diving skills by practically performing tasks such as sub-ship inspections, search and rescue operations, and other related activities.At the end, certificates were presented to participants who successfully completed the course.
