The Azerbaijan Tourism Board is representing the country at the 29th Eastern Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Fair (EMITT 2026) in Istanbul.
The national stand features representatives from 11 local tourism industry stakeholders and Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC, alongside the Azerbaijan Tourism Board.
Through B2B and B2C meetings organized at the "Experience Azerbaijan" stand, participants are exploring the country's diverse tourism opportunities. The showcase highlights Azerbaijan's cultural and natural heritage, as well as specialized tourism products such as gastrotourism, mountain ski resorts, winemaking, and health tourism.
The exhibition, running through February 7, brings together 660 tour operators from 109 countries.
Tourism between the two nations continues to show strong growth. In January 2026, the number of Turkish citizens visiting Azerbaijan reached 36,536, representing a 16 percent increase compared to the same month last year.
