Diplomatic corps representatives wrap up their visit to East Zangezur and Karabakh regions

The visit of diplomatic corps representatives, which began on June 20 at Lachin International Airport and covered East Zangezur and Karabakh, concluded today at the Aghdam railway station.
After visiting Shusha and Aghdam on June 21, the diplomats arrived at the Aghdam Railway and Bus Terminal Complex and departed from there to Baku by high-speed train.
The Aghdam Railway and Bus Terminal Complex was inaugurated by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on May 10 this year.
The railway station is designed to handle between 800 and 1,000 passengers daily, while the bus terminal is expected to serve 1,300 to 1,500 passengers per day.
The complex will be instrumental in the socio-economic revival of Aghdam district and will boost Azerbaijan’s transport potential.
