Baku, May 13, AZERTAC A memorandum of understanding on cooperation has been signed between Baku State University (BSU) and Foundation University Islamabad of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.The memorandum was signed by the rectors of the two universities—Elchin Babayev of BSU and Muhammad Kaleem Asif of Foundation University Islamabad.Addressing the ceremony, Rector Elchin Babayev described strengthening international cooperation as one of the key priorities in the university’s development strategy. He noted that the memorandum signed with Foundation University Islamabad, one of Pakistan’s prominent higher education institutions, would contribute to the expansion of scientific and research cooperation between the universities, foster academic exchange programs, and support the implementation of joint innovative projects.The document also envisages the organization of joint projects, conferences, exhibitions, seminars, symposiums, short-term courses, training sessions, and collaborative scientific research.
