FM Bayramov: OSCE's existing platforms will be even more in demand in future
Baku, April 25, AZERTAC
“The existing platforms of OSCE will be even more in demand in the future. Especially, since the Azerbaijan-Armenia conflict remains in the past, the organization can from now on participate in the restoration and reconstruction initiatives. We had a broad exchange of views on this topic today,” said Jeyhun Bayramov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, during a joint press conference with Feridun Sinirlioğlu, OSCE Secretary General.
"Today’s complex international situation, ongoing military conflicts, distrust, fragmentation and blockade at the international level should be taken into account. With its wide geographical scope, the OSCE unites countries that do not share each other's foreign policy approaches and hostile to each other, under the same umbrella. The main task of diplomacy is to organize dialogue formats and progress this process. No military conflict can last forever. Existing platforms are of paramount importance in terminating conflicts and addressing outstanding issues," Jeyhun Bayramov emphasized.
