Novruz celebrated in London

The Novruz holiday was celebrated in London with great enthusiasm, showcasing Azerbaijani culture and traditions to a diverse audience.
The event was organized by the Azerbaijani Society of City, University of London, with support from the Embassy of Azerbaijan in the United Kingdom, as well as Azerbaijani societies from Queen Mary, Imperial College London, and UCL.
The celebration aimed to promote the rich cultural heritage of Azerbaijan and the ancient traditions of Novruz. The festive gathering featured traditional Azerbaijani music, captivating dance performances, and an assortment of holiday sweets. The venue, adorned with Novruz symbols such as samani, painted eggs, and candles, created a vibrant and joyful atmosphere.
The event underscored the historical and cultural significance of Novruz for the Azerbaijani people, highlighting the importance of such celebrations in promoting Azerbaijani heritage in London.
