Azerbaijan, North Macedonia discuss development of economic and trade relations

Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov of Azerbaijan met with Foreign Minister Timcho Mucunski of North Macedonia on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.
The meeting focused on the prospects for bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and North Macedonia.
The ministers praised the current level of cooperation between the two countries and emphasized the importance of high-level visits, continuous political dialogue, and enhanced engagement between relevant institutions to identify new partnership areas and elevate collaboration to a qualitatively new level.
The FMs also discussed opportunities for developing economic and trade relations in the fields of energy, tourism, and other sectors.
Minister Bayramov briefed his counterpart on the post-conflict situation in the region and the Azerbaijan-Armenia normalization process.
The meeting concluded with an exchange of views on other topics of mutual interest.
