President Erdogan approves Azerbaijan-Türkiye migration cooperation agreement

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has approved an intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in migration with Azerbaijan.
The relevant document was published in Resmi Gazete, the official newspaper of the Turkish government. It outlines key areas of cooperation, including joint efforts to combat illegal migration.
The agreement was signed on June 6, 2024, in Ankara by Vusal Huseynov, Chief of Azerbaijan’s State Migration Service, and Atilla Toros, President of the Presidency of Migration Management under the Turkish Ministry of Interior.
