Azerbaijan and Belarus exchange views on bilateral cooperation

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov received Belarusian Ambassador Andrei Ravkov on January 23, marking the completion of the ambassador's diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan.
Minister Bayramov expressed gratitude for Ambassador Ravkov's effective service during his tenure and wished him success in his future endeavors. He highlighted the importance of high-level engagements, mutual visits, and dialogue on international platforms in strengthening the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Belarus.
Discussions emphasized the significant potential for expanding cooperation in areas such as economy, trade, and investments. The role of the Azerbaijan-Belarus Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation in fostering these ties was particularly noted.
The importance of continuing mutual support and cooperation within regional and international organizations was also underlined.
Ambassador Ravkov thanked Azerbaijan for the cooperation and support extended during his mission and expressed confidence in the continued development of the Azerbaijan-Belarus strategic partnership.
