Tbilisi, January 19, AZERTAC
"When considering the global scenario and current processes, the role of the Middle Corridor is becoming increasingly clear. If both Azerbaijan and Georgia position themselves correctly, we can undoubtedly play a pivotal role in the development of the Middle Corridor. The partnership between our two countries is crucial for this," Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili said.
She noted that the friendly relations between the two countries over the years have greatly contributed to this process. Since the restoration of independence, cooperation between Georgia and Azerbaijan has been increasingly focused on implementing regional projects. Today, the benefits and outcomes of this cooperation are clearly visible.
"Today, the potential to develop not only our countries but also our region is greater, with even more opportunities in the area. Therefore, it is especially important to coordinate our efforts and strengthen cooperation. We must make the most of the opportunities provided by the current geopolitical situation and the geographical location of our region," she emphasized.
